GENESEE COUNTY — Flint and Genesee district courts could merge, possibly forcing the closure of the Burton, Davison, Fenton, Flushing, Grand Blanc and Mt. Morris 67th district courts and making the city of Flint the sole court establishment.

Rash of AC unit thefts causes uproar among businesses

BURTON — A rash of stolen air conditioning units from local businesses has been a growing concern among business owners.

The Burton Senior Center recently reported $20,000 of damage when all four air conditioning units were stolen — likely for the copper inside them.
