GENESEE TWP. — Emmanuel Baptist Church’s Memorial Day Car Cruise will be May 28, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. The church is located at 6434 Richfield Rd.

Free lunch in the pavilion from 12-1 p.m. Open to all vehicles/motorcycles. No drugs or alcohol are permitted. No charge, trophies awarded at 2 p.m. with participants, spectators and kids voting. Rain or shine.— G.G.

The Axmen’s Fun Run

BURTON — The event is May 19 at Rocky’s Great Outdoors, G-4014 S. Saginaw St. Registration at 10 a.m. It is $15 per rider and $25 with passenger. BURTON — A Veteran Administration benefits seminar is scheduled May 22 at 6:30 p.m. Lockwood of Burton is hosting the event with guest speaker Don McIntosh. The event will be at 2173 S. Center Road, Burton. Refreshments and free tours are on the agenda.

Car and Motorcycle Show at Baker College May 20

FLINT — Free Entry to Spectators, Car/Truck owners and Motorcyclists at Baker College Center for Transportation Technology, 1717 South Dort Highway, May 20. Show opens at 9 a.m. and ends at noon.

Door prizes possible for registered Show Participants. First 100 entrants will get a free lunch ticket, goodie bag and dash plaque. Free water and popcorn. Food vendor and multiple vendors on site, music, fun and more.

There will be AWARDS to the top 25 car/trucks and to the top 10 motorcycles.

Free spectator parking at Perani Event Center, enter off Averil to parking lot. All show participants enter off Lapeer Road entrance. Handicap and vendor parking (trailers) will be allowed to park on the show property, but only allowed in off Lapeer Road behind new Welding Lab. Shuttles will be running every 15-20 minutes to and from Perani Event Center for spectators and vendors who may park at Perani.
