Ladies' Night Out at Crossroads Village

Crafters needed for Annual Countryside Crafters Fair

FLINT TWP. — Genesee Intermediate School District’s Elmer A. Knopf Learning Center (EKLC) seeks crafters for its 27th Annual Countryside Crafters Fair.

The juried show will be held at EKLC, 1493 W. Maple Ave., 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 6. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit students with developmental disabilities from across Genesee County who are served by GISD. Burton Rotary to hold Senior Halloween Harvest Ball

BURTON — The Burton Rotary Club will hold a free “Senior Citizen Halloween Harvest Ball” on Oct. 22 at Atherton Middle School, 3444 South Genesee Rd., Burton. A free dinner buffet will be served at 6 p.m. in the Atherton Middle School Cafeteria. Door prizes and Best Halloween Costume prizes will be given away at the event, which lasts from 6–9 p.m. During the evening, there be dancing to live music of the ’50s and ’60s, provided by “The Fairlanes”.

Holy Rosary to hold Mom2Mom sale

GENESEE TWP. — There will be a Mom2Mom Sale on Oct. 23 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5199 Richfield Rd., Flint. This event is hosted by St. Patrick Guild and Holy Rosary Day Care & Child Development Center. Admission is $1 per person. Items featured are: gently used infant/children clothing, toys, furniture, car seats, strollers, high chairs, and more. Eight-foot tables are available for rent at $20 each. Pamper Me for Relay for Life

DAVISON TWP. — The Pink Warriors, a team that walks for Davison Relay for Life, will hold a day of pampering and prizes on Oct. 23 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Old Orchard Estates Club House, 10500 Lapeer Rd. There will be foot pampering, hand massages, manicures, chair massages, snacks and desserts. There will also be prizes that include beauty services at local salons. The cost is $30 per person. Art Guild seeking donations

SWARTZ CREEK — The recently formed Swartz Creek Area Art Guild is seeking donations of money, goods and/or services for its upcoming art gallery at 8048 Miller Rd.

The gallery will be used for teaching art, as well as providing a space for local artists to show and sell their art to the public. The gallery also will serve as a venue for individuals and families to enjoy a cultural atmosphere.

The Guild has a list of items that are needed, and all donations are tax deductible. The Swartz Creek Area Art Guild is a non-profit organization.
