Mender, A Musical of Unity, Healing, and Awareness

FLINT – At Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 424 E. Kennelworth Ave., on Nov. 30, at 4 p.m., the choirs of Mt. Olive and Shiloh Baptist Churches will collaboratively present “Mender, A Musical of Unity, Healing, and Awareness” in honor of the late Richard A. Battle, Sr. He was a prominent musician in our community and passed one year ago due to carbon monoxide poisoning. This musical will serve as an opportunity to share information in the hopes of raising awareness about Carbon Monoxide Poisoning. Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to attend.

Pizza Throwdown at Faithway Christian

BURTON – The Genesee County Pizza Throwdown will be held at Faithway Christian School, 1225 S . Center Rd., Nov. 11 from 6-8 p.m. A great family event and vote on the best pizza in Genesee County. Tickets may be purchased at the door, Adults $10, students and seniors $5, family $25 for all you can eat. Proceeds benefit the scholarship fund of Faithway Chris tian Faith High School. Chorus rehearsing for performance
